Monica Hill has a diverse educational and professional background. She has a BS in Journalism from St. John's University in New York, a MA in TESOL and a MS in Sports Business from New York University, and a certificate in Instructional Design from Walden University. Monica was an associate professor at Montgomery College where she participated in the American Council on Education Task Force on Internalization of the College Curriculum and the college's initiative to provide opportunities for global and international learning to non-traditional students. While working at Major League Baseball, she coordinated the Baseball Cares booth at the 2008 MLB All-Star Game Fan Fest. Monica worked at Laureate Education, Inc., as an instructional designer, curriculum developer, and product quality manager of online content for higher education institutions around the globe. While at Laureate, Monica contributed to the design of highly effective online programs that integrated multimedia learning objects and emerging technologies. Currently, Monica is the Administrator for Online Learning at Community College of Baltimore County where she helps faculty design high-quality online courses and provides training in the use of Blackboard for online, blended, and face-to-face instruction.
